Introduction
Being an independent producer presents a multitude of challenges and joy of filmmaking. Being the first collaborator for the vision of the writer/director and being the person responsible until the end of time for a film; producers are a breed that need courage, stamina and smarts to navigate the often unpredictable weather of filmmaking, How do producers manage to balance all that they need to do for a film and still maintain poise, integrity and be on the charm offensive?

We invite some of the best Asian independent producers working on projects that champion bold visions and push the boundaries of filmmaking/ coproduction to share their experiences and together find ways to strengthen the producers circle so we can all be better together.
